Bridal Session by EE Photography
Greetings sweet readers,
I often think about having a wedding “do over”. No, not in the sense that I would marry someone else. I want to be able to marry my cowboy again AND design the wedding around who we are now… Plus, I want to wear an amazing dress like Allison here. Erin Woolsey of EE Photography took these amazing bridal shots at Vintage Villas Hotel & Events in Austin Texas. Allison’s dress is so lovely, I just love the lace. Lace is one of my obsessions, but if you follow me on Pinterest then you already know that. Allison is a seriously good model too!
Thank you Erin for sharing these beautiful pictures with us. Allison congratulations, and you look amazing!
xoxo

Hollywood Day-After Shoot by Melissa Brandman
Happy Friday lovelies! I’m sticking with warm and sunny places again today as Boston may get yet another snow storm this weekend! Ah! So, feast your eyes on this fab day-after bridal session. It was shot in Hollywood by the always amazing Melissa Brandman. Soooo pretty!!
From Melissa:
“Janelle wanted another opportunity to wear her wedding dress for photos – add some playful and fun styling and a beautiful day at Griffith Park and you’ve got yourselves the makings of a fabulous bridal portrait shoot. We had fun trying different headpieces, layering on the baubles, and working the dress one more time. My friend Jennifer even created a sweet bouquet of garden roses just for the occasion.”
Seriously? Can you believe that hairpiece (and the one below) is from Forever 21? Just goes to show, no matter what your budget, you can still wed in style!
I love sweet light. Gorgeous, right?
Special thanks to Melissa for sharing these beautiful images with us! Make sure to check out her blog for even more photog sweetness!

St. Louis Bridal Session: Castle Fairy Tale
I was immediately smitten when I received this submission from Maranda at Evoke Images. Getting married is somewhat of a fairytale right? And what better way to represent that than a bridal session shot on the grounds of a castle! What makes these images even more spectacular is this absolutely gorgeous bride, along with her lovely dress and killer earrings – LOVE them!
From Maranda:
“I had spotted this location a couple weeks before the session. It was perfect for what Sam and I had discussed for her session! I spoke with the owners of the property who gave us full reign to do whatever we wanted. It was the perfect blend of whimsy, elegance, and beauty for Samantha and her gown!”
Dress: Impression “Amy” from the Wedding Gallery in St. Louis
Hair: Casey Hoffman from Clare’s of Clayton Salon
Makeup: Christina Passanise from Christina Studios
Earrings: Nadri from Nordstoms
Location: Kimmswick, MO

Maui Bride by KT Merry
Summer is my favorite season and I’ll be the first to admit I just can’t let it go. So, since winter is just about to touch down in New England, I thought it would be fun to end the week with a beach inspired bridal session. These photos were shot in Maui, Hawaii by the always incredible KT Merry. (KT also shot Aisle Candy’s banner image, which was taken from this wedding.)
How pretty is the bride’s dress? It’s completely unique and totally has a Hawaiian vibe. I love how the colors play off of the ocean so beautifully. This dress was designed by Wings Hawaii, an all-women run company featuring handmade clothing and jewelry, located in gorgeous Haiku. Their stuff is so cute! Definitely worth a visit to their site.
Native Hawaiian Red Ginger against the turquoise in her dress – magic.
Could you ask for a more beautiful bride?
LOVE the series below. Kind of like one of those old-fashioned flip books right?
Now we’re getting into some of my all time favorite images. Yep. These just about have me speechless. The way KT’s composed these shots is just TO DIE FOR. Ever since photo school (where we were classmates) I’ve been in complete awe of her work. Even back then, almost 10 years ago now, I knew she would not only be an industry leader, but also among the very tip top in this field. She is such an inspiration and I feel incredibly lucky to have met and had the chance to study along side her.
Kind of takes your breath away doesn’t it? Wow KT. Once again you never cease to amaze me. Your work is always so incredible and I just can’t get enough. Thank you for sharing this fabulous session with us! Can’t wait to see what you do next.
What’s that? Can’t get enough either? Then a visit to her blog is an absolute MUST to see all of her most recent photography sweetness!
Happy Weekend!!!
