Maine Engagement by Deborah Zoe

Greetings sweet readers,

super-sweet engagement session is our warm-up to a full-on beach day tomorrow! Deborah Zoe captured Lindsey and Dave beautifully in Maine. Deborah is no stranger to Aisle-candy, you can see more of her awesome-ness here. I love her energy and attitude that comes across in her pictures. My best advise for Brides-to-be, pick vendors based on how you work and feel with them first. Good things come to those who are comfy.

Congratulations Lindsey and Dave! Thanks so much Deborah Zoe for sharing with us.

Make sure you are entered to win the year long subscription to Brides AND a night out to see the new movie The Five Year Engagement. Both end Friday!

xoxo

Sara

E-session by Troy Grover Photographers

Greetings sweet readers,

I look at a lot of photos.  Really.  But even with the saturation, sometimes an engagement session seems to be more than that to me. It becomes a portrayal of a couple’s love to cherish. Well let me just say that I am a huge fan of the husband/wife duo behind Troy Grover Photographers. I am hooked after snooping all the loveliness on their blog and website. Adryon and Luke have an amazing connection that really came through in these photos. The bride-to-be has a killer head of hair and vocal chops to match, Luke is obviously her biggest fan. Sigh… Check her out here, how is she not famous?!

Here is a supper cute look into Adryon and Luke’s engagement story;

A: I was suspecting something. He kinda left a trail.

L: I was nervous! Jeeze.

A: So we went on a gondola ride around Naples Island…

L: I knew she liked Christmas lights and all that. We had been talking about it, so we seized the opportunity. Packed up the champagne and took an hour ride.

A: He was cool as ever on the boat. I was more nervous than he was.

L: I couldn’t do it on the boat. Not in front of the gondolier. No way.

A: So we docked, packed up the car, and he says -

L: Let’s take a walk.

A: To the beach? [[crazed expression on my face]] (He doesn’t particularly care for the ocean)

L: Yes [[swiftly places ring box in his coat - LIKE A NINJA]]

A: We walked a little ways towards the shore, stopping about halfway. He started reciting all the beautiful things about our relationship. And suddenly he wasn’t holding me anymore. I turned around and he had taken a knee.

L: Adryon, I want you to marry me.

A: I freaked out. For, like, a whole minute.

L: I got nervous. My thought was, “what is wrong with this woman?”

A: Of course I said “Of course!”

L:   :)

 xoxo

Sweet Love by AMBPhoto

Greetings sweet readers,

Well it’s official… I am a full-time blogger! I spent the last few weeks wrapping up and now I am all yours!! I have TONS of things I want to do so get ready, buckle your safety belts, and keep your hands and arms inside… I am a stickler for safety. So thank you all for reading, it means so much to me.

Now on to your daily shot of inspiration…

Anne-Marie Bouchard from AMBphoto, sent me this engagement session and I have to say she is one heck of a photographer! I love how she captured Jasmine and Tom’s fun, light-hearted personalities. These two are smitten kittens and it sent me over the top  when I saw that they incorporated their pooch, TOMS shoes (just got my new pair last week) and you can’t ever go wrong with Louboutin!

Here is their story:

“Tom’s proposal to Jasmine must be one of the best I’ve ever heard and I was even lucky enough to be there. Jasmine owns a bridal boutique called The White Dress together with her business partner Stacey. Stacey also runs her wedding planning business Marry Me Productions out of the boutique. Marry Me was launching a new service called iPropose, a service to help men come up with cool ways to propose all the while catching the whole proposal (secretly) on video, and had been dropping teaser videos leading up to the unveiling of the new service. Jasmine, being a good friend and of course her business partner, starred in one of the teasers and was very aware of each step – or was she?!

So where does Tom come in? Tom had been thinking of proposing and had been asked by Stacey if they should incorporate the launch of iPropose with his proposal to Jasmine. But he wasn’t sold.  Was this how he really wanted to propose to the love of his life? In front of all these people he didn’t even know at the launch of a business venture? The opportunity was too good to pass up and the night of the launch Jasmine was caught completely off-guard when Tom got down on one knee.”

Thank you Anne-marie for sharing these two with us! Congrats Jasmine and Tom!

xoxo
