Greetings sweet readers,
Continuing with this week’s theme (because I’m obsessed and you should be too): lacy gorgeousness. I wanted to take a moment and show you some eye candy courtesy of Claire Pettibone. I love how her designs have a vintage feel but there is always something unexpected in the form of a pop of color, intricate sleeve, ribbons, and always jaw dropping back detail!
You have the chance to try on these amazing gowns and meet the designer at the Flagship store. Clear. Your. Calenders!
Claire Pettibone’s whole collection can be seen here. Information on how to RSVP to the trunk show here. The amazing photos were taken by Elizabeth Messina, check out her blog or website for some breathtaking images.

This dress makes my heart skip a beat. Monique Lhuillier’s Waltz gown in blush silk gauze is pure sweetness…
To see the back of this dress (even more amazing) and the rest of this unbelievably romantic collection, click here and go to the Bridal Spring 2012 section. Or go see them in person this weekend at the Melrose CA Bridal Salon’s Trunk Show. For an appointment call 323.655.1088.
Sigh, so lovely don’t you think?
I have a fun week planned for next week, stop by for some inspiration.
Greetings sweet readers,
Lets start this its almost weekend with a trunk show!
later today, an adorable engagement session…
I told you I was back in NYC! Last night I had the pleasure of attending a special blogger event at Vera Wang’s Madison Avenue salon, which was nothing short of amazing. We sipped bellinis and indulged in the cutest mini red velvet cupcakes made by Ruth Drennan (seriously delicious). Vera’s staff was so sweet. They gave us a tour of the salon, which was stunning and walked us through each gown in her newest collection (even more stunning). I’ve sprinkled a few of my favorites throughout this post, but I’d love to hear which one you’d die to wear…

It’s one thing seeing her dresses online or in photographs but to view them up close and get to touch them was just – well, words can’t quite describe it. Each and every one of her gowns is meticulously crafted and constructed from the most amazing fabrics. Her collection includes a wide range of colors from ivory and blush tones to grey and even celedon. She has also included an array of adornments and sashes, so if your gown isn’t just right, adding one of these pieces may be the special touch needed to complete your wedding look.
One thing I thought was interesting was that each collection has a letter attached to it (this season is G) and the gowns’ names begin with this letter. Take a look back at her older collections. You’ll see her 2010 gowns begin with E and 2011 with F. Never noticed that before right?
The sales consultants also stressed the importance of finding your Vera Wang gown 7-8 months before your wedding. It takes time to create such beautiful pieces ladies… so plan accordingly!
A very special thank you goes out to Vera and her amazing staff for including me in this wonderful event. I hope to visit again soon!
