BHLDN : Anthropologie + Weddings
I’m sure most of your are well aware, but for those of you who haven’t yet heard – Anthropologie has just launched a sparkling new wedding line called BHLDN. Inspired by the Dutch word “to keep” and pronounced “beholden”, the collection includes everything from bridal gowns and maids dresses, to shoes, accessories, jewelry and scrumptious hair pieces (Lo Boheme is part of the collection! Check out Lo’s new lines and giveaway here).

My Favorite Fashion Moments…
Hello sweet readers! So today is a pretty cool day for me. I’m guest posting on Perfect Bound which happens to be one of my favorite blogs! Exciting right? Wedding Dresses by Sarah Seven | Aisle Crush
Most of you are already familiar with Sarah Seven yes? Well for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure, let me introduce you to this fabulous Portland, Oregon designer. With a love for romance and femininity Sarah creates unique pieces that are vintage inspired with a modern twist. Her signature style includes delicate fabrics, flowing layers and dainty ruffles. Here’s a sneak peek at her Spring 2011 Bridal and Special Occasion collections:
Either one of the shorter dresses up top would serve as a perfect second dress for your reception. Still super girly but much more comfortable for a long night of dancing and celebration. And I’m especially fond of the gown with the robin’s egg flower sash. Perhaps the perfect way to incorporate that ‘something blue’ into your wedding attire no?
Looking to outfit your bridesmaids? Sarah’s Special Occasion line may have just the dresses. I love these unique color choices and super pretty silhouettes.

Maui Bride by KT Merry
Summer is my favorite season and I’ll be the first to admit I just can’t let it go. So, since winter is just about to touch down in New England, I thought it would be fun to end the week with a beach inspired bridal session. These photos were shot in Maui, Hawaii by the always incredible KT Merry. (KT also shot Aisle Candy’s banner image, which was taken from this wedding.)
How pretty is the bride’s dress? It’s completely unique and totally has a Hawaiian vibe. I love how the colors play off of the ocean so beautifully. This dress was designed by Wings Hawaii, an all-women run company featuring handmade clothing and jewelry, located in gorgeous Haiku. Their stuff is so cute! Definitely worth a visit to their site.

Now we’re getting into some of my all time favorite images. Yep. These just about have me speechless. The way KT’s composed these shots is just TO DIE FOR. Ever since photo school (where we were classmates) I’ve been in complete awe of her work. Even back then, almost 10 years ago now, I knew she would not only be an industry leader, but also among the very tip top in this field. She is such an inspiration and I feel incredibly lucky to have met and had the chance to study along side her.
Kind of takes your breath away doesn’t it? Wow KT. Once again you never cease to amaze me. Your work is always so incredible and I just can’t get enough. Thank you for sharing this fabulous session with us! Can’t wait to see what you do next.
