Summer Blooms: Seasonal Bouquet Ideas
The last two days in Boston have been absolutely gorgeous… perfect temperature and lots of sunshine! After a long snowy winter, I’m SO excited for summer which officially starts today! On that note, I thought it would be fun to pull together some of my favorite seasonal bouquets to inspire all of you soon-to-be summer brides.
Think bright bold blooms tied with colorful ribbon or raffia. Centerpieces in fruit cans and mason jars. Or keep it simple with just one type of bloom hand-tied with textured ribbon in soft earth tones.
Lastly, play with a variety of colors combining bold hues with softer tones and even white to create unique and interesting compositions. This season is all about having fun with your flowers!
Happy first day of summer!!!

I recently discovered Studio Fleurette, a fabulous floral design company serving the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Lead designer, Danielle, the daughter of a horticulturist and nurseryman, crafts incredibly beautiful compositions that could easily be described as works of art. Her ability to combine color, texture and form to create unique and personalized arrangements makes her highly sought after throughout the wedding industry.

Wedding Flowers by Quince Flowers
Good morning everyone! So being a Monday and all, I thought a few flowers might help brighten your day and ease you into another work week. Working yet? These images are from a wedding I’ll be featuring on Friday (so make sure to check back), but the flowers were so unbelievable that I had to give them their own feature post as well. These incredibly beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres and table arrangements are the handy work of Quince Flowers + Events, a floral design studio in Portland, Oregon.
Gorgeous right? Their ability to combine just the right colors and textures to create such amazing compositions is clearly unmatched. In addition to floral design Quince also provides overall event design services, so whatever your wedding needs, they will collaborate with you to ensure the perfect setting for your special day.
Oh and did I mention that they share studio space with a letterpress company called Studio Olivine. How cool is that? And if you book with both you receive 10% off your flowers and invitations! Does it get any better?
