Hello there lovely readers of Aisle Candy!! I’m Sofia and together with AndrĂ© we are Brancoprata, a Portuguese duo who loves to work on weddings!! You have no idea how excited I am for being guest posting here today!! When Katie ask me to do an inspirational board to share here I were super excited… to say the least!!

I immediately begin thinking about it! I envisioned a Spring wedding with a rustic inspiration… however, instead of a country setting i thought about all those city brides who would love to get married surrounded by nature but can’t! Well, with this board I hope to help bring nature and rustic galore to the city, in an old fashion but stylish kind of way!

I’m so happy with the end result, i think it screams “Springtime in the city”.
Thank you again Katie for having me today on your fabulous blog!!
xo

Wedding Ideas } Inspiration Board 003

In honor of what could be my absolute favorite holiday (after all, I am a bit Irish) today’s board is inspired by St. Patrick’s Day! I think tying the knot in Ireland would be absolutely breathtaking. Here’s how I envision a wedding on the Emerald Isle…

Wedding Ideas } Inspiration Board 002

Over the weekend I created a bunch of Valentine’s Day inspiration boards, and eventually whittled it down to two. I went back and forth between them for what seemed like forever and just couldn’t decide. So… I figured the only solution was to post them both! They’re similar but have a few different images in each. I’d love to hear which one is your favorite of the two. Thoughts?

Wedding Ideas } Inspiration Board 001

In the midst of another big snow storm – yes, the third in three weeks – my mind keeps drifting toward warm and sunny places. In that spirit I thought it would be fun to create my first inspiration board based on a destination wedding in Mexico! Think bold bright colors, beautiful settings full of historic architecture and wonderful Spanish hospitality. Not to mention the sun, warmth and palm trees too!

Inspiration Board Credits (all images have been cropped except for the bride):
Red shoes: Stephanie Williams, Ceramic vase, bride and aloe: KT Merry, Drinks and rooster Rachel McGinn, Postcard: It’s Mel C, Flowers Joielala, Wooden door – oops! I can’t seem to find the source for this image. If you are the maker please email me and I will gladly add your photo credit.
