I stumbled across this fab invitation suite on Beast Pieces earlier this morning and was immediately smitten! Created by talented designer/illustrator Julia Kostreva and printed by the always stellar Studio on Fire this luscious set combines hand-drawn typography with traditional letterpress printing.
And the result… absolute perfection. Yes?

“Yes, exactly right – the folded card holds all of the pieces together inside, sort of like a program cover to the invitation suite, and, since we went with translucent Chartreuse envelopes, its an exciting liner.”

Very neat! And the color combination is unique. This may be a dumb question, but the folded card with the print on it and no text…do you happen to know what that’s for, exactly? Does it just hold all of the pieces together inside the envelope?
