I wanted to share this amazing gown by the uber talented Tara LaTour.  Her interview last year was so exciting, and I recently asked her to pick her fav gown. Here is her pic… and I couldn’t agree more.

Tara says…

“This dress is called Harper.  I love this dress because….

 I love the color interpretation of this dress.  Usually ombre is thought of as going from light to dark.  But in this dress we built the color from dark to light, giving it a different look than your typical ombre. 

This gown is the ultimate word in romanticism. This gown features around 600 raw edges flower that have all been hand sewn.  A labor of love.

This dress is very special for me because it named after my niece.  She was born on the day I started making this dress.  I think extra love went into the dress because it was one of the happiest times EVER!

This is the first gown of mine that received a national editorial in Brides magazine. It is featured in this months issue along side designers who I have admitted for so long.  Gives a new meaning and significance to this dress.”
