Aisle Candy is For Sale

Hello sweet readers! Yes, I am alive! I’m sure many of you have been wondering where I’ve been and why there haven’t been any new posts for almost two months now. I have missed all of you dearly and am sorry if I have disappointed you with the lack of content recently.

The truth is, I’ve gone through some big life changes in the last few months that have caused me to reevaluate my passion and commitment for Aisle Candy and weddings in general. To be honest, my heart isn’t fully in this anymore and I don’t feel it’s fair to continue without giving each of you 100% of my efforts.

At this time, I have decided to focus my energy on other interests and areas of my life. That being said, it would be upsetting for all of my hard work getting AC up and running to go to waste. So, I’ve made the very difficult decision to put Aisle Candy (my baby) up for sale.

A TON of blood, sweat and tears went into creating and maintaining this blog and it’s important that I hand it off to someone who will continue to uphold it’s quality and integrity. There is SO much potential for Aisle Candy and someone with a serious passion for the wedding industry and blogging in general could grow and expand the site in ways I never thought possible.

Any interested parties should email me through the contact page of the site. I will be sure to keep all of you updated on the status of AC and will most certainly be posting at least one more time to say goodbye should I find a suitable buyer. Stay tuned and enjoy the beginning of Fall!

xoxo
Katie

Blue Wedding Shoes!

Gone are the days where a bride’s only choice for her ‘something blue’ was a garter. Today, women are finding so many unique ways to incorporate this color into their bridal emsembles. Blue heels are one way to add a bold pop of color to your attire while still keeping with tradition. Why not fashion yourself in a pair?

Above is a roundup of my favorite picks from around the web. I can’t decide which I love more, the sparkling Louboutins (top left) or the gorgeous Gucci rhinestone peeptoe pumps (bottom right). More importantly I’m dying to know… which is your favorite?

Summer Blooms: Seasonal Bouquet Ideas

The last two days in Boston have been absolutely gorgeous… perfect temperature and lots of sunshine! After a long snowy winter, I’m SO excited for summer which officially starts today! On that note, I thought it would be fun to pull together some of my favorite seasonal bouquets to inspire all of you soon-to-be summer brides.

Think bright bold blooms tied with colorful ribbon or raffia. Centerpieces in fruit cans and mason jars. Or keep it simple with just one type of bloom hand-tied with textured ribbon in soft earth tones.

Lastly, play with a variety of colors combining bold hues with softer tones and even white to create unique and interesting compositions. This season is all about having fun with your flowers!

Happy first day of summer!!!
