Happy Friday lovelies! So, as some of you know, in addition to running Aisle Candy, I have also been a weekly contributor on The Inspired Bride since last summer. I recently decided to take a break from IB in order to focus more fully on my own blog. Although I’m very sad to be leaving, I’ve had a wonderful time working with Maddy (IB’s editor) and learned a great deal from her in the process. Thanks Maddy!
So, in celebration of my time on The Inspired Bride, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite guest posts with you before signing off for the weekend. If you like them I’d love to hear your comments!
P.S. – If you like the color palettes above, make sure to check in on Monday as I’ll (finally) be posting Aisle Candy’s very first color board! A little later than I originally anticipated, but still just as exciting! Yay!
P.P.S. – Happy Weekend!!!
Seriously? How cute are these necklaces? Your maids would surely love one of these as a gift. Or perhaps you are looking for that funky piece of jewelry to help make your wedding wardrobe totally unique? Either way, Elva Fields Jewelry has you covered.
Elva Fields lines – Elva, June, and Deb – are named for the artist’s great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother, respectively. Owner/designer Emily Wheat Maynard finds unusual vintage and antique pieces and transforms them into jewelry that is chic, modern and timeless. All pieces are handmade in her Kentucky studio and she donates a portion of each sale to a local charity called Backpack Buddies. Love that. I highly suggest a visit to her site for some afternoon ‘window’ shopping…
Happy Sunday everyone! Today I’m very excited to introduce you to Jessica’s Country Flowers, Aisle Candy’s newest advertiser! Located in Burlington, Connecticut, Jessica is one of the most sought after floral designers in New England and has been featured in numerous magazines and on many wedding blogs.
She works with a wide array of budgets and design styles and meets with each and every client to ensure each couple’s wedding reflects their unique personal style.
Jessica is also putting the finishing touches on her new wedding book (Enchanted Weddings) set to be released sometime in 2011. Make sure to visit her blog for a peek at her latest floral creations.
Welcome Jessica! We’re so happy to have you!!
