For those of you who haven’t heard of Pinterest – you’ve been missing out! An incredible site filled with inspirational images, Pinterest is an amazing resource for all brides-to-be. Uncover ideas for every aspect of your wedding day from dresses and decor to florals and accessories and everything in between. Search for anything your heart desires and loads of gorgeous images will appear. You can even create your own inspiration boards to keep all of your new ideas organized! So, today we’re going to look at some bright bouquets, perfect for a spring or summer wedding, that I pulled from this lovely site. I’m curious… which is your favorite?
Happy Monday! I’m head over heels for AC’s newest sponsor and sooo excited to introduce you to her today. Please welcome Tonya Peterson Photography to Aisle Candy! Not only is Tonya an incredibly talented photographer, but through our email conversations it’s easy to see what an amazing person she is as well. She’s based in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area but also captures weddings worldwide. Below is a sneak peek at some of my favorite images of Tonya’s… sooo pretty!
Gorgeous right? Wanna see more? Then I highly recommend a visit to Tonya’s blog to view all of her stunning photography. Go ahead… just don’t be surprised when you fall hard and fast for her work. It’s just amazing!
Happy Friday all! I’ve got a super sweet dose of eye candy for you today. After all, it is almost the weekend! Most of you who’ve been around the wedding blogosphere have seen lots of her work, but for those who haven’t – let me introduce you to Maggie Austin Cake. I popped over to Maggie’s site last night and was sooo excited to find a few new pieces had been added to her gallery. So remarkably striking, I just had to share them immediately! So… without further ado, onto the beauties below.
Based in Washington D.C., Maggie’s creations are true works of art, always exquisitely tailored and completely one-of-a-kind. Her cakes have been recognized for their “symmetry, elegance, and sophistication with the subtle yet unmistakable mark of haute couture.”
If you’ve been searching for something completely different – totally modern, colorful and bold, or elegant and tailored – something just incredibly beautiful, Maggie Austin is it. Her site has so many more brilliant designs and is definitely worth spending some time perusing… enjoy!
With the opening of it’s first-ever bridal boutique on Madison Avenue this past Spring, J.Crew has solidified it’s place in the world of wedding fashion. Along with their gorgeous line of wedding gowns, J.Crew has the goods to dress your entire wedding party, right down to your flower girls and ring bearers! Let’s start with a few of my favorite dresses.
Next, onto the maids. They have soooo many bridesmaid’s dresses, all with beautiful color palettes to choose from. LOTS more where this came from.
A girl could spend the later part of a day browsing through J.Crew’s wedding site. Go ahead… I dare you.
Morning everyone! So excited to share today’s e-sesh with you! This love shoot was captured by the fabulous Shannon Grant in none other than beautiful Boston Common. So pretty right? What makes this shoot even more fun is that I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting the bride and groom. They are such a good time and just so sweet together.
See what I mean? Totally cute together right?
This series is one of my favorites. Especially the images on the left – so easy to see how much these two love each other.
Tip toes! As a shorter girl myself, I totally relate to these. What better way to kiss your sweetie? Love them!
The Common has sooo many pretty locations for an engagement session and I think Shannon managed to find them all. Even a tree with a heart carved into it! Hmm… I wonder if that was scouted out before hand?
Love this image of the bride above, with the look of total contentment – like two soul mates have been found. Aww.
And who wouldn’t finish an e-sesh in the Common without a kiss! The shoot then traveled to Marina Bay where the couple celebrated their engagement with a champagne toast. I saved those images for the slideshow below. Take a peek…
Congrats Steph + Kevin! You both look absolutely adorable and I know your wedding is sure to be a serious blast. And on New Year’s Eve to boot – sooo much fun!
