Happy Friday sweet readers! I have been waiting all week to share today’s love shoot with you! Having called Beacon Hill home for the past two and a half years I may be a bit partial, but I swear, this has got to be one of the prettiest engagement sessions I’ve seen!
I had the pleasure of meeting photog Alexandra Roberts in Charlestown (my 2nd favorite neighborhood in Beantown) earlier this week. Not only is Alex amazingly talented – this was her very first time shooting an e-sesh (I know, I can’t believe it either) – but she is also so nice and just a really sweet person.
Could Allie + Steve be any cuter? LOVE them!
Beacon Hill is full of itty bitty streets and little alleyways, which Alex took full advantage of during this shoot. She was able to find the perfect settings to capture images like the ones above. Gorgeous!
Aww. So sweet…
And what winter e-session would be complete without a cup of joe?
A very special thanks to Alexendra Roberts for sharing her incredibly beautiful images with us! Alex it was so awesome to meet you this week! You are such a talent and it was truly an honor to feature your work on AC!
There’s lots more where this photog goodness came from. A visit to Alex’s blogis an absolute must for anyone looking for beautiful wedding inspiration.
So much good stuff happening in the wedding blogosphere right now! Hope you love these picks as much as I do!

Weekly Round Up
> What better way to start the week off than with this mod cake
> LOVE this e-sesh in a canoe on the lake
> Absolutely hands down my new FAVORITE wedding gown
> Incredibly beautiful light in this Vegas sunset love shoot
> Check out these adorably modern flower girl dresses
> Gorgeous Beacon Hill e-sesh – a new favorite for sure!
How cute are these little dresses?! The top two by Fairy Wonderful may be my favorite. A visit to their Etsy shop is an absolute must. They can create something completely custom to your wedding colors – and even offers matching hair clips and sashes to complete each flower girl’s ensemble!
The dresses on this board were all found via Beane & Company, an adorable little online shop sporting all sorts of boys and girls formal wear. I especially love the one in the upper left corner – so chic!
It’s funny. When you think of Vegas you think of it at night right? Bright lights, dancing fountain, black jack tables… We seem to forget that just before the sun goes down is a really beautiful time in Sin City too. The sunlight in this shoot is sooo pretty! And it was captured effortlessly by the wonderful Kelsey Anderson.
And when the camera captures these sun glares it just adds incredible warmth and richness to the photos.
You just love it don’t you? Simply stunning.
I am in serious LOVE with this dress! Originally spotted on 100 Layer Cake, this sweetheart neckline is so pretty and feminine, the beaded empire waist adds just the right touch of sparkle, and the flowing ostrich feathers – totally whimsical and romantic. Just an all around dream of a dress.
And the best part… you can buy it at Bloomingdale’s! Yup, you heard me right. I know I just made some lovely bride’s day introducing them to this exquisite gown!
Do I see a trip to Bloomie’s in your near future? Hmm…
